Fun with Quotes!

I borrowed this little bit of fun from over at Dad Gone Mad. It brought back such good memories of movies that I've enjoyed in the past.

So please play and remember to tell me what your fav quote is in the comments!

1. Go HERE.

2. In the SEARCH field (top left part of the page), type in the name of your favorite movie.

3. When you get to the movie's page, click the link in the left navigation bar that says "MEMORABLE QUOTES." (It's in the Plot & Quotes area)

4. Find your favorite line from your favorite movie and post it in the comments section of this post.

Here's mine from "The Breakfast Club" circa '85

Andrew-"We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all."

Come one come all and tell me yours!!

Ooo Oooo, this game is fun.
I love the movie "The Proffesional". For those who haven't seen it you must. Here are some fun quotes from that movie:

Léon: [referring to his plant] It's my best friend. Always happy. No questions.

-------------------------

Mathilda: Leon, I think I'm kina falling in love with you.
[Leon chokes on his milk]
Mathilda: It's the first time for me, you know?
Léon: [wiping himself off] How do you know it's love if you've never been in love before?
Mathilda: 'Cause I feel it.
Léon: Where?
Mathilda: [stoking her stomach] In my stomach. It's all warm. I always had a knot there and now... it's gone.
Léon: Mathilda, I'm glad you don't have a stomach ache any more. I don't think it means anything.

I have to rent this movie now. I havn't seen it in years. Soo much fun.

This IS a fun game!

Well, one of my favourite movies of all time is Last of the Mohicans..if you have never had the chance to see it, it is WELL worth the time. It has Daniel Day-Lewis at his sarcastic, dry-humoured best! Anyway, here is my favourite quote:

Duncan: There is a war on. How is it that you are heading West?
Hawkeye (DDL): Well, we face to the North and, real subtle-like, turn left.

This is what I posted this morning at DGM...
First off I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally and A Fish Called Wanda..but I chose this:
*********************************
OK.I didn't read them all but I saw that people commented When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride..so I'll go w/ a different ones. Here are a few with one of my all time favorite movies.

Valley Girl, 1983

Randy: That techno-rock you guys listen to is gutless.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Julie Richman: Do you think she really does all the stuff she says?
Stacey: I mean, who could make up 'That stuff tastes like Clorox.'?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fred Bailey: So, you wanna dance?
Girl: In another life!
Fred Bailey: Yeah, I didn't either. I was just taking a poll.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Randy: Where do you work?
Julie Richman: At my parents' store.
Randy: What do they sell?
Julie Richman: Health foods.
Randy: That's cool.
Julie Richman: Like, it's not cool at all! Like, it's all this stuff that tastes like nothing and it's supposed to be so good for you. Why couldn't they, like, open a Pizza Hut or something?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Julie Richman: I'll start my diet tomorrow.
Stacey: You better watch out, because Randy might like the Hollywood lean look.
Suzi Brent: Yeah, but blimps don't get to go out with Tommy.
Julie Richman: Who?
Stacey: Tommy.
Julie Richman: Who?
Loryn, Stacey, and Suzi: [in unison] TOMMY!
Julie Richman: Fuck him!

My movie is Say Anything. I love this quote so much. This is what made me fall in love with John Cusack a long, long time ago.

Lloyd Dobler:
I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that.
